The district
Isola Design District is a territorial marketing project that provides visibility and opportunities to artisans, young designers and emerging brands, promoting local stores and restaurants, involving the historical and artistic resources of the area.

Exhibition Concept
Projects will be organised in:
-
a collective exhibition of hand picked design products, displayed together in a pop-up concept store;
-
dedicated areas for individual brands, with spaces available from 1,5sqm to 15sqm.
I progetti saranno organizzati in:

una mostra collettiva di prodotti di design selezionati, esposti insieme in un pop-up concept store esperienziale;

aree dedicate ai singoli brand, con spazi disponibili che vanno dai 1,5mq a 15mq.
Installation Concept
1:1 scale drawings of imaginary architectural
spaces, with a perspective that will make you feel inside them.
Products will be integrated to these installations, to make visitors experience them.
In MDM 2019 edition images have been made by the French architects Marie Chevalier and Colombe Crouan.
Disegni in scala 1:1 di spazi architettonici immaginari, con una prospettiva coinvolgente.
I prodotti saranno integrati con queste installazioni, per far sì che i visitatori li vivano appieno.
Nella passata edizione le immagini sono state realizzate dalle Architette Francesi Marie Chevalier e Colombe Crouan.
Thanks to the collaboration with studio Alkanoids, the entire exhibition is enjoyable in Augmented Reality with the use of the app Aria, which enables the visitors to access a series of digital contents, using this particular technology to learn more about the exhibited pieces and the theme itself of the event, going beyond the physical world.
Grazie alla collaborazione con lo studio Alkanoids, l'intera mostra è fruibile in Realtà Aumentata attraverso l'utilizzo dell'app Aria, che permette ai visitatori di accedere ad una serie di contenuti digitali, utilizzando questa particolare tecnologia per conoscere meglio i lavori esposti e il tema stesso dell'evento, andando oltre il mondo fisico.
